Sigma Homes acquired the site with Planning Approval, but the original layout and house designs did not make the most of the location or the potential of the homes themselves.
Our role was to optimise the internal layouts, improve buildability, and enhance the character of each house, while drawing inspiration from the surrounding local architecture to ensure the development felt harmonious with its setting.
This involved resubmitting a carefully considered planning application, followed by the preparation of Building Regulations and Working Drawings packages for these timber-frame homes.
Traditional detailing, including tile hanging, timber cladding, and brick accents, combined with the use of local materials wherever possible, elevates the development and allows it to sit seamlessly within the village context.
The result is a thoughtfully designed scheme that balances practicality, elegance, and character — a development we are proud to have helped bring to life.
